Cloy Coming to UCLA Camp

The La Habra (Calif.) tight end, Darrell Cloy, will be at UCLA's Elite Camp on Friday...

La Habra (Calif.) tight end Darrell Cloy (6-3, 228), is holding three offers and thinks a couple of more could be coming.

"I have offers from Colorado, Colorado State and Arizona," said Cloy.

On Friday, Cloy plans to camp at UCLA and then next month, he'll visit Arizona.

"I'm going to the UCLA Elite Camp on Friday and then on July 27th I'm going to Arizona for kind of their Junior Day to see their brand new facilities," said Cloy.

The Wildcats were the most recent offer for Cloy and they have been stepping up their recruitment of him.

"I would say Arizona is recruiting me the hardest," said Cloy. "Coach (Rod) Smith is recruiting me really good."

Cloy said that with a couple of commits already on his team, Boise State verbal Greg Gaines and USC commit Toa Lobendahn, several schools stopped by La Habra this spring.

"Boise State and Arizona State are both showing me a lot of interest and I think they could be offering soon," said Cloy. "And hopefully I show out at the UCLA camp."

Cloy said all of his interest was coming as a tight end or H-Back.

"I'm trying to get back down to 220 and I think I'll end up 6-4, 6-5, so I'll probably play just tight end," said Cloy.

He will attend the B2G Elite Camp next weekend in Los Angeles.

Academically, Cloy has a 3.0 GPA.
