He attended UCLA's Elite camp Friday and got off to a strong start clocking a 4.61-40 at 6-2, 202 pounds. During the one on ones, Scott looked a little passive and didn't take too many reps. He was then moved to linebacker for the 7 on 7 portion of the camp and that's when he came alive.
"There were a lot of defensive backs out there so I didn't get as many chances in the one on ones," Scott said following the camp. "When we went to 7 on 7, I was actually going to move to linebacker but the coaches told me to take some reps and I really liked playing that position.
"I think I got to show off some versatility and it was fun learning a new position. I liked Coach Ulbrich a lot and got some great feedback from him. I have a big frame and I think I can play linebacker as well as safety. Honestly I'll play anywhere a school wants me to play, I'll do whatever gets me on the field."
"That's the plan for me right now," Scott said. "I would like to get to the USC camp and then my coach and I are flying out to Washington for their camp. I'm looking forward to getting out to Washington and seeing something new. They haven't offered yet but have been recruiting me for a while so hopefully it happens for me."
