Gardena (Calif.) Serra linebacker Dwight Williams had narrowed his list to 16, and while it's still at 16, there is one newer team in and one out.

"It's still 16 schools," said Williams. "I eliminated USC and put Stanford in there. I'm not sure when I'll name a top ten."

Arizona State, Boise State, California, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Stanford, Tennessee, UCLA and Washington are the 16 schools on Williams' list.

"I'm not sure where I'll take my visits to," said Williams. "When you take an official visit to a school, it shows a lot of interest in that school, so I am taking them to the places I am most interested in. Even if it's in state or right around the corner, it shows a lot to the coaching staff that you really want to be there, so I don't know right now who all I'll visit."

But Williams does plan to take all five trips and has a time frame for when he wants to decide.

"I am going to take all of them and I'll announce at the Army Bowl."

No schools have emerged as a leader for Williams.

"All of them are recruiting me hard and everyone has pretty much offered that I want," said Williams. "I don't have a favorite though. They're all equal."

Williams was happy with his performance in at The Opening.

"I felt it was alright," said Williams. "I'm never too satisfied and there are still a couple of things to work on. But the experience was awesome. It's all I expected it to be. We went up against guys who know all about Serra and they were just trying to raise my game."
