St. Brown Will Take Pac-12 Visit

Anaheim (Calif.) Servite 2015 wide out Equanimeous St. Brown has been busy this past spring attending several camps all over the region and beyond...

Equanimeous St. Brown doesn't just have one of the best names in the state this year, he's a player with a very nice upside as well. At close to 6-5 and 200 pounds, St. Brown has a great frame and showed at the SoCal NIKE Camp back in April he can make plays down the field.

He's a good athlete with soft hands and is definitely a player to watch closely this coming fall. Servite is expected to throw the ball more in their offense and St. Brown should be a big focal point of what the Friars try to do.

On the recruiting front, St. Brown has two offers on the table with Washington State joining an early offer from Illinois.

"Washington State just offered about two weeks ago," St. Brown said. "I'm going to take an unofficial visit there later this month with Greg Hoyd and I'm real excited to go and check the place out. They love to throw the ball and Coach Leach is known as an offensive guy so it should be a fun visit.

"Illinois offered after I did the SMSB Camp (Sound Mind Sound Body) in Michigan. It was cool, they were a lot of college coaches there and I got some great feedback from schools like Michigan, Ohio State and Iowa. I had a great time and learned a lot and getting that first offer was huge for me as well."

St. Brown also camped with a handful of programs closer to home.

"I did the UCLA, USC and Stanford camps," St. Brown said. "They were all good for me, I had a good time and each of the schools told me I'm on their list. Right now, I don't have any early favorites, I'm open to everyone. I'm just ready to play out my junior year and then see where my recruitment goes following the season."
