Decisions to Make for Briscoe

Four-star 2015 guard Isaiah Briscoe talks about his recruitment and when a potential decision could come down...

Class of 2015 combo guard Isaiah Briscoe has some big decisions to make. The four-star prospect continues to show well in July, and now he is looking forward to his future.

So far so good for Briscoe in July. Even though he didn't have a chance to compete in the Nike Peach Jam, Briscoe has still played in front of plenty of coaches, and has impressed.

"I think July is going great," said Briscoe. "I feel I have been playing well in front of all of the coaches. I just love to play basketball. Wherever there is a ball dribbling and competitors, I am going to be there."

He continued, "I am working on my body. That is the main thing. I think after that everything is falling into place."

Schools such as Pittsburgh, Arizona, Florida, UCLA, Syracuse, Rutgers, Georgetown, St. John's, and others are after Briscoe.

Recently he made a visit to Arizona, and the trip went well.

"I saw the practice facility, the game gym, and things like that," said Briscoe. "Arizona is a beautiful campus and everything is amazing. The relationship I have with Coach Book (Richardson), Coach Sean (Miller), and Coach Damon Stoudamire is amazing. I just feel like a part of their family."

Another school that Briscoe is very familiar with is Syracuse. It is not only fairly close to his home, but also that is where his sister played her college ball.

"I am always at Syracuse," explained Briscoe. "I also feel comfortable with them. Coach Red (Autry) is my guy, then Gerry McNamara and Coach (Jim) Boeheim are great. Syracuse is great and they have Tyler Ennis there now, and I know I am going to see him in a little bit."

While he has visited Arizona and Syracuse multiple times, Briscoe says he wants to see at least two more other schools in person.

"I want to see Florida and UCLA," said Briscoe. "I just want to see the campus. I have heard Florida and UCLA have great campuses, and I know both have nice weather."

For now though, Briscoe says he has some things to figure out before he thinks about making any kind of college commitment.

"I have to know what high school I am going to first," said Briscoe with a laugh. "After that I will start thinking about a college."

Currently Briscoe is rated as the No. 27 prospect in the class of 2015.
