Godchaux Back to Original Date

It was December, then he moved it to August, but on Monday night, the four-star Louisiana defensive end prospect Davon Godchaux moved his decision date back to December...

It was December 28 for Davon Godchaux. That is the date he originally planned to commit to the school of his choice.

The 6-4, 270-pound defensive end prospect from Plaquemine (Lousiana) then thought about it over the weekend and told Scout on Sunday that he was going to commit at his school on August 23, the birthday of his older brother.

Godchaux then informed Scout on Monday night that he will "not be ready" to commit on August 23 and that he now plans to announce his decision on December 28.

The Scout 300 defensive lineman out of Plaquemine, La. lists Alabama, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and UCLA as schools still under consideration.

Godchaux has been on UCLA's campus twice this summer.
