After a convincing 58-20 win over Nevada on Saturday, UCLA rose to No. 18 in both the Associated Press poll and the USA Today/Coaches poll.

Last year, UCLA rose as high as No. 15 in the AP poll before the three game losing streak to end the year. The most recent time UCLA has been ranked higher was in 2007, when UCLA was ranked No. 11 prior to losing to Utah 44-6 in Karl Dorrell's last year.

UCLA's next opponent, Nebraska, fell four spots in the AP poll to No. 22 and one spot in the Coaches poll to No. 19. UCLA gets a bye week this week before taking on the Cornhuskers in Lincoln on September 14th.
