Snider to Take Another Visit

The Kentucky point guard, Quentin Snider, visited UCLA last weekend, and now will visit Illinois this coming weekend...

Quentin Snider took his first official visit this past weekend to UCLA.

The 6-foot-1 point guard out of Louisville (Ken.) Ballard was expected to take a handful of visits over the next two months, but it was uncertain if that would be the case after his visit to UCLA. According to his father -- Scott -- they will, in fact, go on an official visit this weekend.

"Visit this weekend at Illinois is a go," Snider informed Scout.com.

The visit to Illinois is an official visit. Cincinnati, Connecticut, Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Connecticut and USCare also on Snider's current list.

Snider is ranked No. 31 overall and is regarded as the No. 7 point guard in the 2014 class.

BRO EDITOR NOTE: The word from sources close to the Snider recruitment was that UCLA was expecting a verbal commitment within a couple of days after his official visit. The thought now is that he favors UCLA but that, having been committed to Louisville for such a long time, the family didn't want to commit so quickly to another school. The general sentiment from some sources is that he could very well commit to UCLA after his Illinois visit.
