Bruin Report is now offering a premium service to its readers. With the premium service, of course there will be quite a few questions. So, here are some FAQs that hopefully will help get you squared away on all the information you need to subscribe to Bruin Report:
How much will it cost?
The Bruin Report "Insider's Pass" is $4.95 per month or $59.95 for an annual subscription. The $59.95 annual subscription is a deal since, in the next several months, the monthly subscription will go up as new features are added.
What will I get for it? What other features will I get with my subscription?
With the Insider's Pass you get access to the premium information, which is the best information that Bruin Report can give you. Within a couple of days, a temporary premium message board will be available that will be the place where more sensitive information can be released that can't be published publicly. Over the next several months, more features will be added, including a permanent premium message board, premium chat and e-mail notification, among other things. You'll also get access to all the other college team premium stories.
How do I sign up?
Click on the Bruin Report Insider's Pass Subscription Page and follow the easy sign-up instructions.
Where will I be able to access the stories?
The stories will be accessible in a couple of different places. You'll be able to access them like you would any other story that's displayed on the front page, only the premium stories will have a star next to their headline. There is also a premium story archive that you can reach from the left-hand navigation bar on the site.
Will every story be premium?
Not every Bruin Report story will be premium. Some will remain free, but not many. The ones that will be non-premium will mainly be intended to attract new subscribers, or have very general UCLA-related information.
If I have problems, whom do I contact for customer service?
For the time being, send any subscription related customer service requests to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. But, you can help the efficiency of the site and increase the information provided on the site if you limit your customer service requests to only very vital requests. The more time I spend on premium customer service the less time I have to gather premium information. Please read this FAQ page thoroughly and the FAQ page attached to the subscription sign-up page to help answer any of your questions.
Is there other premium information I can purchase and will it also help support Bruin Report?
There is an added recruiting package that can be purchased in addition to the Bruin Report premium package called "The Insider's Recruiting Pass." The Recruiting Pass provides you access to all of the recruiting sites in Scout.com network, including Prep West Hoops, Pac-West Football, Blue Chip Hoops, Newbergrecruiting.com, prepatlantic.com, poolrecruiting.com, heartlandrecruiting.com and JCFootball.com. All of these sites can now only be accessed by subscribing to the recruiting package. As part of the package, new features are on the way, including a searchable recruiting database, premium message boards, chats, email alerts, and more. Also, if you purchase a network ticket it directly helps support Bruin Report. "The Insider's Recruiting Pass" is $5.95 per month or $69.95 annually. THE INSIDERS RECRUITING PASS IS A SEPARATE SUBSCRIPTION. YOU DO NOT GET ACCESS TO BRUIN REPORT PREMIUM INFORMATION IF YOU SUBSCRIBE TO THE INSIDER'S RECRUITING PASS. You can sign up for it at the Subscription Option Page.
I want to thank everyone again for their continued support of Bruin Report.
