Quentin Snider is ready to announce his college choice.
Scout.com's No. 7 point guard and No. 31 overall prospect will choose between Illinois and UCLA Thursday evening, according to his father -- Scott Snider.
Snider took an official visit to Illinois this past weekend. He visited UCLA the weekend before. Snider also met with John Groce for an in-home visit on Monday. Steve Alford was in his home on Tuesday. Both coaching staffs also stopped by his school this week.
In between his freshman and sophomore year, Snider committed to Louisville. He backed off that pledge in early July and reeled in over a dozen high major scholarship offers.
Snider, a standout at Louisville (Ky.) Ballard, led his high school to the state championship game as a junior.
