Juju Changes Visit Schedule

With so many D-1 prospects on the field Friday night when Long Beadh Poly played Corona Centennial, one probably stood out: Poly's Juju Smith...

The field was littered with Div I prospects but Juju Smith was a man among boys. No one said it better than Tony Marshall, father of elite junior Iman ‘Biggie' Marshall, "watching Juju is like watching a college player playing with a bunch of high school kids."

Smith made plays in the defensive secondary, made big plays at receiver and punished Centennial's defense on the ground. He had two touchdowns and showed off his multi-faceted skill set of size, speed, toughness and athleticism that makes him a top 10 player in the nation.

Following the game, Smith had some big news concerning his official visits.

"I dropped Ole Miss and I'm going to visit Oregon now," Smith said. "I talked with my parents and we just felt like Ole Miss wasn't the best fit for me. It's a great school and all but I just didn't think it was for me and I like what I'm seeing from Oregon.

"I'm visiting (Oct. 26) when they play UCLA and that should be a really good game. My other visits are still set with Ohio State coming up later this month and then Notre Dame, Alabama and Michigan. I'm also looking at USC and UCLA heavily as well and I don't have a leader right now. I'll take my visits and then hopefully make my decision at the Under Armour All-American game."
