2016 Watch List- West Region

A look at 13 names to know from the West in the class of 2016...

Scout.com released the 2014 rankings prior to the season and more than 2,000 players are listed. In addition, the Class of 2015 Scout 300 was released earlier this month, followed by the Ultimate 300, a compilation of the top 300 players in the nation in the 2014, 2015 and 2016 classes.

With recruiting sped up, Scout.com is pleased to release a "Watch List" for the 2016 class with more than 75 recruits from across the nation.

This is not a ranking, but rather a guide for fans to get to know some of the big names in the class.

Here is a look at 13 players from the West to know, with the players listed alphabetically.

West Region

Brandon Burton, S, 6-0, 180, Gardena (Calif.) Serra
The next young star from the vaunted Cavs program, Burton could end up on either side of the ball, like Marqise Lee, Robert Woods and Adoree Jackson.

K.J. Costello, QB, 6-5, 205, Santa Margarita (Calif.)
Already off to a strong start as a sophomore, Costello already filling the big shoes of Johnny Stanton.

Kevin Davidson, QB, 6-3. 210, Danville (Calif.) San Ramon Valley
Few schools in NorCal have cranked out quarterbacks like SRV and Davidson will be a three-year starter.

The top sophomore in the Pacific Northwest got an SEC offer this summer after a big camp tour.

Part of one of the best backfields in the region, Lucas is the top skill prospect from Arizona.

The nephew of USC and NFL star Junior Seau, he's the next Seau star from San Diego, like his cousin and brother in the past few years.

Boss Tagaloa, OG, 6-3, 250, Concord (Calif.) De La Salle
One of the rare freshman to play for the Spartans, was all-underclass at the Oakland NFTC and got an SEC offer not long after.

Playing alongside two other Scout 300 linebackers in the 2014 and 2015 class, Walls is the next in line.
