Delp Has Idea On Visits

The Pomona (Calif.) Diamond Ranch lineman, Kammy Delp, could decide at the Semper Fi Bowl...

Kammy Delp is a talented two-way lineman and one of the most versatile players in the region. He can play guard or tackle offensively and is a solid defensive tackle recruit as well. His upside is probably highest as a guard and that's where his body projects best as well.

On the recruiting front, Delp has an official visit set up with Washington State (Oct. 12).

"That's the only one I have locked in right now," Delp said. "I'm planning to take all five if I can but I haven't decided on the other four yet. I know I want to visit Washington, Arizona State and Oregon State so it's just a matter of locking in a date that works for everyone.

"I'm not sure about that last one, I'm just going to keep it open. UCLA is one of my top schools obviously but I've been up there for an unofficial already. That visit was like an official because I saw the whole campus and met with everyone so I'm not sure I need to do an official there right now. I kind of want to do all of the visits to out of state schools since I can't just drive there on my own."

As for a timeline of when he'll make his decision, Delp said it could be at the Semper Fidelis All-American game, which is January 5.

"I would love to do it at that game," Delp said. "I'm very interested in that and I think all my trips will be out of the way by then so there's a good chance that's when I'll go ahead and make my announcement."
