Evans Visiting this Weekend

Auburn (Ala.) outside linebacker Rashaan Evans will take his official visit to UCLA this weekend...

Auburn (Ala.) outside linebacker Rashaan Evans will start his official visit to UCLA today. We've heard that Evans' entire family, including his parents and brother, will also come out to Los Angeles. This is significant because the family must pay its own way to come on an official visit.

Evans is also heavily considering Auburn, Alabama, and Georgia, but UCLA has consistently been in the mix in his top five.

His teammate, defensive back Antreal Allen, committed to UCLA earlier this summer, and was originally supposed to come on his official visit this weekend as well. We've heard now that he will not be coming on his visit this weekend, and will reschedule for a later date.

Evans is one of a few linebackers from the South that UCLA is recruiting heavily, including River Ridge (La.) John Curtis linebacker Kenny Young. We've heard UCLA is doing very well with Young, and is feeling good about where it stands with Evans, thanks to a good relationship between Evans and linebackers coach Jeff Ulbrich.
