Holmes landed his first offer from Utah during his sophomore season and Houston and UCLA soon followed suit. Nebraska, USC, Washington and Oklahoma have also offered and Holmes landed his latest offer from the Pac 12 last week.
"I got an offer from Oregon State," Holmes said. "I like how they pass the ball and they put out some good receivers so I was excited by the offer.
"I got Oklahoma right before Oregon State and that got me excited too. Oklahoma has a big time program every year, they're a national power for sure. Coach Stoops does a great job there and I like their offense and how they play so Oklahoma is definitely going to be a school I'm going to check out closely."
Locally, UCLA was high on the list for Holmes but had some explaining to do after a recent home game the receiver attended.
"I went to a game earlier in the year and they gave my tickets away to another recruit," Holmes said. "It kind of made me mad, I called them that morning to let them know I was coming. I still got in, they gave me some other tickets but they weren't as good as the ones they gave to another recruit so I kind of felt dissed a little.
"It's all good now, I talked to Coach Martin the following week and we're good now . I still like UCLA a lot but USC is really coming up for me as well. I don't have any leaders but I'm feeling USC a lot. I talk to their coaches a lot and that's a school I've always liked. I think once they bring in a new coach, they'll get things rolling again and I'm excited to see how it plays out."
