VIDEO: Jones after Stanford

The UCLA running back, Malcolm Jones, talked about his surprising start against Stanford...

On starting against Stanford:
The way the game plan goes, I go in on certain scenarios. Regardless, I was just happy to get some playing time and help my team, but as a whole, we have a lot more work to do.

On his early success running:
It felt good to get off to a good start. I'm just glad our whole offense was playing together, but we made too many mistakes in the game and we have to find a way to get better.

On what Stanford was doing against the run:
They had a good game plan against our offense. They were plugging the holes. There wasn't much to do in between the tackles. They did a good job of holding us on the run.

On how Stanford stopped them after his initial big run:
They did a better job of setting the edge, with their D-Ends, and then the linebackers were just sitting there in the hole, and made it hard to figure out what to do.
