Foreign Big to Visit UCLA

Gyorgy Goloman, the 6-9, 200-pound power forward originally from Hungary but playing high school at Weston (Fla.) Sagemont School, will officially visit UCLA this weekend.

Goloman is a skilled four man, who has flown a bit under the radar. He performed well at the European Championships last summer, and then schools such as Davidson, New Mexico, and Richmond started recruiting him.

UCLA assistant coach Ed Schilling has had a connection to the prospect since before he arrived in the U.S.

UCLA is expected to offer Goloman on his official visit, and sources close to the situation believe there's a very good chance Goloman will commit.
