Dublanko Visits UCLA

Aberdeen (Wash.) 2016 linebacker Joel Dublanko took in a pair of Pac-12 games on back-to-back nights.

Dublanko, a four-star in the 2016 class, saw his childhood favorite, Washington, take on UCLA at the Rose Bowl.

"The trip to UCLA went great," said his father Craig. "He and Jim Mora continue to hit it off and I believe he is very high on their radar. Unfortunately they had not had a chance to review his 2013 film before we got there so we are going to reconnect with them in December."

The next night, Dublanko was at the Coliseum to see USC knock off Stanford.

"The USC visit exceeded our expectation and not just because the game was amazing," said his father. "Joel and Coach (Mike) Ekeler, the linebacker coach have hit it off amazingly both times he has gone to see them. Their relationship is very good. They haven't reviewed his 2013 film and will be doing it soon and we will be reaching out to them in early December."

Dublanko was invited back for USC's Junior Day in the spring, which his father said he will attend.

"USC has been a bit of a surprise and he really likes the atmosphere around that program and Coach Ekeler is one of Joel's favorites," said his father.

This weekend, Dublanko will be in Pullman to see Washington State host Utah.

"They have let us know that they are really looking forward to having Joel at this game," said his father. "The linebacker Coach (Ken) Wilson and Joel hit it off during camp last season."

Next weekend, Dublanko will be at Oregon to see the Ducks take on Oregon State in the Civil War.

Dublanko owns early offers from Akron, Mississippi State and Montana.
