VIDEO: Barr on USC

Anthony Barr talks about the importance of the upcoming game, the issues against Arizona State, and how it feels to go up against another pro style offense...

Anthony Barr:

On bouncing back from the loss to Arizona State:
Last week is behind us. All we have is this week. It's a big game for us. For both teams. We're looking forward to the challenge.

On the adjustment from going from ASU's offense to USC's offense:
Hopefully better, because we didn't defend the zone read very well. Hopefully it makes it a little easier for us.

On why they had difficulty defending the zone read:
Multiple reasons. Players not doing their assignments. Missed tackles, things like that.

On how they'll protect Hundley better:
Luckily, I don't have to worry about that, that's the offense. I'm sure they'll take care of him.

On Cody Kessler:
I haven't really watched him yet. What I've seen on TV, he's done a pretty good job, the latter half of the season.

On dropping into coverage against USC:
I'm sure our game plan will be similar. I'm not sure exactly how we're going to defend them yet.

On if anything changes in the game with nothing on the line, championship wise:
I don't think so. You go into every game to win. It's another game we have to go out and win.

On if a win can change the tone of the season:
Oh yeah, definitely. I think the way we lost this last week is still with us and still bothers us. A win this week will help us rid the frustrations.

On how things changed for him after his hit on Matt Barkley last year:
People like to talk about it. It is what it is. I don't look too much into it. I think the way we played is more important than the hit itself.
