Allen-Williams: Flipping or Staying?

There have been a couple of four-star prospects that flipped their commitments over the past week, so will Bryson Alen-Williams follow that trend? Will he stay with South Carolina or flip to UCLA? Find out here...

UCLA has put in a lot of hours and worked hard on Bryson Allen-Williams, but has it done enough to pull the four-star linebacker across the country and away from the University of South Carolina?

Allen-Williams traveled out to L.A. over the weekend to give the Bruins one last look, so do the Bruins have a chance now?

"The coaches at UCLA did give me some things to think about during my visit, but I am still solid to South Carolina," Allen-Williams said.

"The coaches talked to me about their depth, they showed me how they would use me, and all the networking opportunities I would have if I went there.

"I am still going to listen to them and talk to them because my relationship with Coach [Jeff] Ulbrich (Linebackers) is beyond football. They tell me no matter where I go that they will support me because of the type of guy I am."

Stephen Roberts flipped to Auburn from Alabama and Markell Pack flipped to Ole Miss from Florida State over the past week, but the four-star linebacker out of Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove will not follow that trend.

"I have talked to Coach [Lorenzo] Ward (Defensive coordinator) since I got back from UCLA and he knows I am solid to South Carolina.

"He was OK with me going because he knew how strong my commitment was. I am still a Gamecock and I am excited about it."

Allen-Williams will visit South Carolina officially the weekend of February 1. An official visit to Alabama is still a possibility as well.
