In a rematch of the 2012 CIF-SS Western Division finals, Serra looks to win their fourth CIF-SS title in the past five years with all the players, eight with UCLA offers, including committed receiver Jordan Lasley, as well as five-star cornerback Adoree Jackson, four-star linebacker Dwight Williams, three-star safety Glenn Ihenacho, 2015 five-star linebacker John Houston, 2015 four-star defensive lineman Rasheem Green and 2015 four-star running back Malik Roberson (who is out for the year with an ACL injury) as well 2016 safety Brandon Burton. The Cavs are the No. 1 seed in the CIF-SS Western Division. Chaminade has a balanced offense with star power all over. Quarterback Brad Kaaya is a Miami commit and one of the top five signal callers in the region. Donovan Lee is a dynamic play maker at running back, receiver and corner and his sophomore brother Dymond Lee already has an offer from Miami. Bellflower St. John Bosco vs. Santa Ana Mater Dei
Bosco has an embarrassment of riches with 13 players holding Div I offers. Jaleel Wadood is the No. 3 safety in the west and is one of the most dynamic players in the region. He visited UCLA officially last month. The top recruit on the team is massive offensive lineman Damien Mama. Mama is the nation's top guard prospect and has his choice of any school in the country. Jacob Tuioti-Mariner has gained 20 pounds since last season and has established himself as one of the region's premier defensive lineman and UCLA is taking a long look at him and talented quarterback Josh Rosen is the No. 2 signal caller in the 2015 class and is UCLA's top target in 2015. Mater Dei has four-star cornerback Jonathan Lockett anchoring their secondary and four-star receiver Ben Humphreys from the 2015 class as well as three-star tight end Kyle Penniston. UCLA coaches are expected at this game.
Corona Centennial vs. Murrieta Vista Murrieta
In a game that UCLA coaches will be at, Corona Centennial has UCLA running back target Tre Watson leading their offense and defensive end Austin Maloata, who is a commit to USC but who will visit UCLA officially this weekend. They also have underclassmen like Jihree Stewart, who has a few offers. Vista Murrieta has one of the best linebacker corps in the West, with Oklahoma commit Curtis Bolton, BYU commit Tyler Cook and Washington State commit Greg Hoyd leading the way. Arizona State commit Coltin Gerhart plays quarterback and safety and one of his top targets is 2015 receiver Colin Baker, who's camped at UCLA the past two summers.
El Cerrito vs. Kentfield Marin Catholic
El Cerrito is led by UCLA commit Adarius Pickett, who's shining at both running back and cornerback for El Cerrito and after losing in the CIF-NCS finals a year ago, they face Marin Catholic, who knocked them off last year. Marin Catholic features quarterback Morgan Mahalak, a commit to Oregon as well as Nevada receiver commit Drew Celis.
Los Angeles View Park vs. Sun Valley Poly
Led by newest UCLA verbal Cameron Griffin, View Park is the top seed in the CIF-City Section playoffs and face Poly in their championship game matchup.
Bellevue (Wash.) vs. Sammamish (Wash.) Eastside Catholic
Myles Jack's alma mater goes for their sixth straight WIAA 3A state title against the same team they crushed in last year's final. The Wolverines have three players with UCLA offers, four-star safety Budda Baker, three-star offensive lineman Morgan Richey and 2015 four-star offensive tackle Morgan Richey. Eastside Catholic is led by 2016 four-star safety Brandon Ellington and 2016 quarterback Harley Kirsch, who has an offer from Wyoming.
Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman vs. Sparks (Nev.) Reed
The nation's top tight end in the 2015 class, Alize Jones, committed to UCLA last weekend and he'll be back in action for the Gaels this weekend against Reed in the state championship. The Gaels are gunning for their fifth straight state title.
Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian vs. Clearwater (Fla.) Central Catholic
Newest UCLA commit Victor Alexander, a 2015 linebacker and some of the state's top underclassmen in Kevin Toliver, Jeff Holland, Jalen Buie, and Kendrick Norton visit Clearwater Central Catholic.
