Zach Whitley Video and Update

Zach Whitley, the 6-2, 220-pound linebacker prospect from Galena Park (Tex.) North Shore, is verbally committed to Alabama, and publicly re-affirmed his commitment after officially visiting Tuscaloosa December 14th.

The #6-ranked inside linebacker in the nation officially visited UCLA the weekend before. His teammate, offensive lineman Najee Toran, is verbally committed to UCLA and accompanied him on his visit to L.A.

After that UCLA visit, there was some buzz that Whitley was strongly considering flipping to UCLA.

We're still hearing that UCLA has a chance with Whitley.

The four-star linebacker is an early entrant to college, so he can currently sign with the college of his choice to enroll by early January.

As of today, Whitley has yet to sign. If he is, indeed, going to enroll early at the college of his choice, to do it he will have to decide in time to enroll within two weeks.
