Evans Down to Final Three

Five-star outside linebacker Rashaan Evans informed Scout on Monday that he is now down to three schools...

Rashaan Evans, a five-star outside linebacker out of Auburn, Ala. has eliminated Georgia and Ole Miss he told Scout on Monday.

Alabama, Auburn, and UCLA are Evans' finalists.

He has already visited UCLA officially and he has an official visit to Alabama on January 17 and to Auburn on January 24 scheduled.

Some sources beleive the in-state schools are the favorites, but UCLA is a legit contender as well. Evans has a strong relationship with Bruins linebackers coach Jeff Ulbrich.

Evans may wait to announce his decision on signing day, but he may be ready before then.

The 6-foot-3, 220 pound five-star will be the new top prospect in Alabama once Scout releases the final 2014 rankings.

BRO Editor's Note: There is a chance that Evans could unofficially visit UCLA on January 31st. He has become somewhat close with the Louisiana contingent that is visiting UCLA that weekend: UCLA's Big Recruiting Weekends. He was previously going to officially visit Ole Miss on that weekend, but now that he's dropped the Rebels that would open up the opportunity for the UCLA unofficial visit.
