Nation's #5 2015 WR Has 10 Schools

The top-ranked junior receiver in Texas, Damarkus Lodge, names the 10 schools that are in the running for his signature in a year...

DaMarkus Lodge, a 6-foot-2, 188-pound wide receiver from Cedar Hill High in Texas has every top school in the country chasing after his signature.

On Friday, he released his Top 10 list.

Baylor, Clemson, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, TCU, Tennessee, Texas A&M and UCLA make up his list.

Texas was speculated by many to be the front-runner for his signature, but the Horns did not make his list following the resignation of Mack Brown.

Still it does not seem to be all of the way eliminated in his mind. he just does not have the appropriate info to put them in the current top 10.

"I still like Texas," Lodge admitted. "I have to build a relationship with Coach Strong before I give anymore thought on them though."

Lodge was one of the top receivers in the state as a junior in 2013. He helped lead Cedar Hill to a State title.

"He's the best receiver in the country," Cedar Hill head coach Joey McGuire said of his star wideout. "I would compare him to Julio Jones who I coached down in the Under Armour game."

This season in 16 games Lodge collected 72 passes for 1,255 yards and 22 scores. he added an additional 176 yards and three scores on the ground.
