The reigning state champs meet at the school in River Ridge, La. on Saturdays, so with that schedule, Dupre has had to push all his official visits to January.
The dead period ends Thursday at midnight and Dupre will have a lot to get done between then and February 5, signing day.
It all gets going Thursday, the first day in 2014 college coaches are allowed on the road.
"I know Coach [Nick] Saban from Alabama is coming Thursday and I know coaches from UCLA and LSU are coming too," said Dupre. "It is going to be crazy. They are all coming to my school and my house. I told them they all cannot come to my house at the same time."
That is just the beginning for the No. 1 wide receiver in the country.
With only three weekends remaining before signing day, Dupre will take at least one mid-week visit.
The first official visit is this weekend.
LSU will host the 6-foot-3, 195 pound senior first.
After spending the weekend in Baton Rouge, La., Dupre will head to Tuscaloosa, Ala. from there where his visit is scheduled to start on Monday January 20.
For now, he has two other official visits scheduled and they are to Florida State (January 24) and UCLA (January 31).
One more could be added.
"I am down to LSU, Florida State, Alabama, UCLA, and Ole Miss," said Dupre. "I have visits set to all but Ole Miss right now. I am not sure about that one yet."
Dupre has a big decision to make in less than a month and the official visits are "important" to him.
He knows it is about to get crazy for him with coaches constantly around and him spending a lot of time on the road trying to digest it all.
"I just hope I make it," Dupre said when asked about the coming weeks.
It will be an exciting finish for this special talent and he will announce his decision on signing day.
