Burrell Hearing from UCLA

2015 four-star Woodbridge (Va.) C.D. Hylton offensive tackle Matthew Burrell already boasts several big-time offers, in addition to plenty of interest from UCLA...

Woodbridge, Va. C.G. Hylton offensive lineman Matthew Burrell is one of the top prospects in the 2015 class, and he already holds over two dozen offers from some of the top college football programs. However, the 6-foot-6, 285-pound Burrell isn't satisfied with simply being one of the best, he wants to be the best.

And Burrell isn't leaving his fate up to chance. Instead, he heads to the Hylton Boys and Girls Club after school, to hone his skills along side someone who knows what it takes to be the best: Woodbridge (Va.) five-star defensive end and Alabama commit Da'Shawn Hand.

After all, if you want to be the best, you have to beat the best, right?

Several times a week Burrell and Hand work out side-by-side, working on everything from their hands to agility and balance. Then when their skill work is over, the real fun begins. That's when Hand, the top defensive end in the 2014 class, and Burrell, one of the top offensive lineman in the 2015 class, line up across from each other for the true test of their talents: one-on-ones.

Scout.com field reporter Rachel Klein recently caught with the four-star lineman after one of his workouts to find out more about what separates him from other players. Burrell discuses how Hand has helped him improve both on and off the field, and why he continues to strive for greatness. In addition, he breaks down the latest with his recruitment, including his thoughts on his two latest offers from Miami and LSU, what coaches he has been hearing from, and his plans for the spring, in the video below.
