A 6-foot, 175-pound guard, Holiday went for 27 points on 10-for-17 shooting. He also recorded eight rebounds, tossed out six assists and blocked three shots.
Holiday started off the game looking to create shot opportunities for his teammates. As the game wore, Holiday began looking for his shot more. He dropped in floaters and mid-range shots and made his way to the free throw line six times from aggressive drives.
Holiday also connected on a pair of three-point attempts.
"I've been shooting better this year," Holiday said. "Shooting better threes and making them actually. I've been doing pretty good."
Holiday has the ball skills, passing ability and vision to play the point guard position. But he's also a talented scorer. Does Holiday prefer to play on or off the ball?
"It doesn't matter to me," Holiday said. "I can score and I can pass. Just whatever they need me to do, I'll do."
"At my best, I'm playing great defense," he added. "I'm knocking down my shots, getting to the basket and finding my teammates."
Holiday is the brother of Jrue, who played at UCLA and now plays for the New Orleans Pelicans, and Justin, a standout at Washington. He said his time watching and now working out with them has helped his game.
"It's helped a lot," he said. "They taught me the little things like how to get by somebody and how to play defense. It's helped me a lot because I used to watch them play and now I work out with them sometimes."
Much like his brothers, Holiday has a long list of schools pursuing him for college. He rattled off a list that included UCLA, USC, Gonzaga, Connecticut, Stanford, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Washington and Washington State.
"It's going pretty good," Holiday said about the recruiting process. "Now I'm just trying to find the school that fits best and I'm still on the search for it."
Holiday has taken visits to the local schools – USC and UCLA.
"I've been up there before with my sister because she stays up there in the dorms," Holiday said about UCLA. "I know a little bit about it, but seeing the locker rooms was cool."
"They are good," he said of USC. "It's the same stuff. They are a pretty good school and in a good area. They are well coached."
Rumors surfaced that Holiday may be close to making a college decision, but Holiday said that's not the case.
"No, not really," he said. "I'm still looking."
