"I have offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Utah, Colorado State, SMU, Houston, Washington State, Miami and UCLA," said Tezino. "I'm hearing a lot from Washington, Florida State, Alabama and Florida too."
Tezino also has a short list of four schools standing out.
"My top schools right now are Arizona, Cal, UCLA and Miami," said Tezino. "They're all kind of equal right now until I start taking trips."
Tezino saw three of his teammates sign with Arizona earlier this month, so the Wildcats certainly have some advantages.
"All day, every day at school they push me to come with them and say to commit to Arizona," said Tezino. "They're on me a lot."
UCLA, the local school, also has a hometown advantage.
"UCLA is right in my backyard so I have a lot of interest in them too," said Tezino.
Cal and Miami round it out.
"I like Cal, it's a good school with good academics and Miami, man, it's the U," said Tezino.
Tezino is planning to visit both UCLA and USC in the spring, as well as plans to get out to Arizona, Cal and Washington.
Most schools like him as a linebacker, but safety has also been mentioned.
"Schools are mostly looking at me as an outside linebacker who can drop into coverage," said Tezino. "I like to rush but also I can be used kind of like a rover. Some schools like me as a safety. I'm good with either."
Tezino plans to go to the Los Angeles NFTC and will be doing 7on7 with 4th Quarter Sports.
Academically, he has over a 3.3 and will take the SAT in March.
