Marvell Tell, currently rated the No. 33 player in the country, is an athletic safety, very rangy and can cover a lot of ground. He has a nice frame with plenty of room to grow, is a solid tackler and has a very nice upside to him.
Tell broke his collarbone late in his junior season and had to shut things down early. The athlete said he'll be ready to go this spring and will likely be at the SoCal NIKE Camp in early March.
On the recruiting front, Tell landed his latest offer from Colorado and said the two local schools are recruiting him hardest right now.
"UCLA is recruiting me the hardest," Tell said. "USC is recruiting me really hard as well and I have high interest in both schools. I was at USC's Junior Day and had a really good time there and I'm going to Stanford (Mar. 1) for their Junior Day as well.
"On March 8 I'll be visiting Washington State and I plan to visit UCLA sometime this spring. Right now, I have no plans to make an early decision. In fact, I'm still enjoying the process and I plan to wait until Signing Day to make my commitment. I know things could get stressful but right now, I'm really enjoying it."
