Holland Planning Spring Visits

2015 four-star Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian linebacker Jeffery Holland is one of the top outside linebacker prospects in the country, and could visit UCLA this spring...

Jeffery Holland has a lot of schools after him and it's hard to tell which ones he really likes. Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Ohio State, Florida State, and UCLA all look to be in good position at this time. The Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian standout recently visited Florida for a junior day and enjoyed his time in Gainesville.

"It was as usual, I've been down there a lot of time, so I just hung out with a couple of players, (Nick Washington) Vernon Hargreaves, and (Ahmad Fulwood)," he said.

He was also able to speak with head coach Will Muschamp about how he'd fit in there.

"We just talked about the defensive schemes, the depth chart, and he also told me he didn't take a linebacker this year, so that's a plus," he said. The 6-foot-2, 230-pound linebacker also plans to visit Auburn and UCLA this spring.

"I'll go to Auburn, me and my family are going to Auburn, just go up there, have a great time," he said.

Holland has visited Auburn before and he's looking forward to catching a spring practice. He hasn't visited UCLA yet so he's especially excited to check out the Bruins program.

"I just like that it's out of town, Florida players are successful there. I like how they'd use me in the scheme, like they used Anthony Barr, I could go there and do big things and get to the next level," he said.

Holland is still unsure about when he could decide and maintains that he's still very open-minded.

"I'm not really (getting closer to a decision), I'm just going to probably wait and see when it's time, talk to my family about it and pray about it, talk to my coaches," he said.

He says it could be any time, he might just wake up and feel right about it one day. Whatever the case, Scout.com will have you covered on the latest.
