Aurora (Colo.) Regis Jesuit offensive lineman Tim Lynott (6-4, 295), added another Pac-12 offer this week.

"Coach (Jim) Mora at UCLA offered," said Lynott. "That's my fourth offer now."

The Bruins followed Colorado, Colorado State and Oregon in offering Lynott, one of the top prospects in Colorado.

The offer came out of the blue to Lynott and came at a different position.

"I was a bit surprised, I wasn't really expecting it," said Lynott. "They offered me as a guard."

But Lynott, who plays right tackle for Jesuit, was thrilled with the offer.

"It's an honor to get offered by such an amazing school," said Lynott. "I for sure want to go out and check out UCLA, I just have to find a time to get out there."

Lynott visited Colorado last weekend for the Buffs' Junior Day. The in-state Buffs were the first to offer Lynott.

"It was awesome," said Lynott.  "I got to see everything they're about.  I loved all the coaches, the facilities and all they're about.  Overall it was an amazing visit."

Lynott said a couple of other schools could be nearing an offer as well.

"Schools that could be close would maybe be Arizona State and Penn State," said Lynott.

With a handful of early offers, Lynott plans to take his time in the process.

"I'm still pretty wide open," said Lynott. "I just want to find the right college."

Lynott said he'll be working on setting up some unofficial visits for the spring, but none remain.
