"I loved both visits," Walker said. "I was at USC first and spent the whole day there. It was a great experience, I got to sit down and talk football with the OL coach, Coach Drevno and tour the campus. I loved the weight room, that's what stood out about USC, I love the facilities they have.
"By the time I got to UCLA that night, I was pretty wiped out but still really enjoyed myself. I talked with the coaches, Coach Klemm and also Coach Mora and met most of the staff. That campus is amazing and I liked the facilities there as well. I like both schools a lot and both OL coaches, I can't really differentiate between the two, I really had a good time and like both schools a lot."
Walker said he plans to visit Washington sometime this spring/summer and will also try and get to Texas A&M and Auburn. He wants to take a few official visits after his senior season and isn't close to making a commitment.
*Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman wide out Cordell Broadus plans to take all five of his official visits and isn't close to making a decision.
"I don't have any dates set of course but I want to visit Florida State, Miami, LSU and Notre Dame," Broadus said. "I'm just going to take it easy this summer and don't have anything planned and don't plan to do any 7 on 7. I'm just going work on my game at Gorman and try and get better.
"I might go and visit UCLA and USC but that's it. UCLA is on me real hard right now and I talk to Coach Martin all the time. I'm not hearing as much from USC so I need to check in there and see what's up. Right now, I'm open to everyone and want to wait until Signing Day to make my decision."
*Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco offensive lineman Zach Robertson had a sore hamstring at the camp and said he was at about 75%. He still did a few one on one reps but had to shut things down early.
"Right now I'm up to eight offers," Robertson said. "Arkansas, Washington and ASU are my most recent ones. UCLA and Arkansas are recruiting me the hardest right now and I'll be visiting UCLA for their Junior Day next Saturday.
"I went to USC's Junior Day in January and liked it a lot there. They just took five lineman so I need to see how I fit in there. I would like to visit Washington this summer and then take official visits to Notre Dame and Arkansas for sure. If I can't visit UW in the summer, I'll definitely officially visit there too."
*Chino Hills (Calif.) defensive end Trent Goens said two schools are standing out for him and he's looking to make an early decision.
"Right now, I really like Northwestern and Washington," Goens said. "I'm going to visit Northwestern in early April and I want to visit Washington too but don't have a date yet. I probably have room for one more but don't have anyone in mind just yet.
"I would like to commit early, probably in July or August. I don't want to go through the process during the season and have to deal with all that stress. I just want to be able to focus on my senior year and already know where I'm going. Northwestern and Washington are my two leaders but it's still early and I'm not closing any doors just yet."
*Long Beach Poly's (Calif.) Joseph Wicker said a pair of Pac 12 schools are recruiting him the hardest.
"Oregon State and SMU are my most recent offers," Wicker said. "I'm planning to visit Arizona State in the next two weeks with some of my cousins since we couldn't make it to their recent Junior Day. Right now, ASU and Washington are recruiting me the hardest.
"I originally committed to UW but that staff is gone. I talk with the new staff though and I like them a lot. I'm not hearing a lot from the local schools right now. I went up to UCLA for a basketball game and they said they could offer but it hasn't happened yet and I haven't heard much from USC either. It's all good, I'm open to everyone and I plan to wait until Signing Day before I commit."
*Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei linebacker Ben Humphreys had a great day on Sunday taking home LB MVP honors.
"This Friday I'll be going up to UCLA and then I'll be at USC on Saturday," Humphreys said. "Neither school has offered but they're both recruiting me pretty hard. California and Washington are the schools recruiting me the hardest and I'm going to try and visit both over Spring Break.
"I do plan to make an early decision, sometime late in the summer. I'm going to camp with Stanford for sure and might do UCLA again as well. Hopefully I'll get an offer from one of the local schools or Stanford but if not, it could come down to Washington or Cal but we'll see, it's still early for me."
*Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde offensive lineman Tevita Halalilo took a recent visit to UCLA and it sounds like the Bruins are in a pretty good spot.
"I loved it there, they're definitely on top for me," Halalilo said. "I talked a lot with Coach Klemm and Mora and I was very tempted to commit. I just want to hold off a little to make sure I'm doing the right thing. Once I commit, that will be it so I don't want to rush it.
"Arizona State, Washington State and Oklahoma, who just offered are showing me a lot of love too. I would love to visit all three in the spring or summer and then commit at the end of the summer. I went to ASU last year and liked it a lot so it would be cool to get up there and visit again."
*Honolulu (Hawaii) St. Louis offensive lineman Fred Ulu-Perry had a strong camp and earned OL MVP honors. His stock should definitely rise quickly.
"Kansas is my most recent offer so I have seven right now," Ulu-Perry said. "I'm also hearing a lot from Ole Miss and Oklahoma and hopefully they'll step up and offer too. I plan to take all my official visits but right now, I have no idea where I'll go, I'll figure that out later in the summer.
"I want to try and camp with USC if I can and it would be great to get down to UCLA too. USC is my dream school, I've always liked them and an offer from them would be incredible. I would like to stay on the West Coast and I'm a warm weather guy too so we'll see what happens. I would like to wait until Signing Day if I can to make my decision, that way I know I'll be taking my time and doing the right thing for me."
*Upland (Calif.) defensive back Kameron Powell still has his four offers he picked up earlier in the year but said a ton of schools are on him hard.
"I'm getting letters from just about everyone," Powell said. "The whole Pac 12 is showing interest plus a lot of Big 10 and SEC schools too. Colorado is on me hard and I could see them offering. Utah and Arizona have been picking up interest too so hopefully something happens there.
"I don't have any summer plans yet but I'm sure I'll probably camp with USC and UCLA since they're local. After that, I'm not sure what I'll do but I'm sure I visit some out of state schools too. I just haven't had the time to sit down and figure that out yet."
*Buena Park (Calif.) wide out Jaylinn Hawkins is up to seven offers and said a few schools are recruiting him hardest.
"Utah is my most recent offer," Hawkins said. "A lot of schools are recruiting me and seem like they could be close to offering as well. I'm hearing from Florida State, Arkansas, USC, UCLA, Duke, Alabama and a few more.
"Cal, Washington State, Oregon State and Northwestern are recruiting me the hardest among the schools that have offered. This summer, I'm still figuring out my trip plans but I may camp with USC and UCLA, they both want to see more of me. I may visit Washington and Oregon too but I'm not sure if those will be camps or just visits."
*While most of his recruiting attention has centered around the two L.A schools, Gardena (Calif.) Serra athlete Stanley Norman said he's still considering everyone.
*I don't have a leader, I'm open to everyone still," Norman said. "I know people are saying I'm a lock for UCLA or USC but there a lot of other schools I like a lot and I plan to take all my trips and wait until Signing Day to make a decision.
"Oklahoma is a school I like a lot and they're recruiting me hard. I'm definitely going to visit and they have as good a shot as anyone. I want to play right away so early playing time and depth charts will be important but I think I'm good enough to play for anyone so I'm going to let the process play out."
