L.A. Nike Football Training Camp Recruiting Notebook

-Salt Lake City (Utah) Cottonwood linebacker/defensive end T.J. Fehoko has offers from Colorado, Vanderbilt, Oregon State, Hawaii, Utah and Utah State among others, and is hearing from Oregon, USC, UCLA and Stanford.  Fehoko said that Colorado is pretty high on his list. Fehoko said most schools like him as a defensive lineman.

-Mountain View (Calif.) St. Francis defensive tackle Thomas Toki committed to Washington State in December.  He's since moved from Washington to the Bay Area.  Toki visited UCLA unofficially on Saturday and said that Washington and USC are also recruiting him. Toki, though, said he's still solid to the Cougars.

-Corona (Calif.) Santiago quarterback Blake Barnett had already punched his ticket to The Opening and the Elite 11 Finals, but showed up on Sunday to throw anyhow.  A commit to Notre Dame, Barnett said he'll camp with the Irish this summer.  Barnett said USC and Oregon are still recruiting him.

-Los Angeles (Calif.) Windward 2016 linebacker Breland Brandt picked up an offer from USC on Friday and UCLA had offered a week before, so the Los Angeles native already has a couple of big local offers.  Brandt also has offers from Arizona State, California, Colorado and San Diego State and said that Notre Dame is an offer he's hoping to get.

-Los Angeles (Calif.) Salesian linebacker Kyahva Tezino has double-digit offers but said his top four of Arizona, Arizona State, Miami and UCLA remains the same.  Tezino visited UCLA unofficially on Saturday and plans to visit Arizona this spring.  The Wildcats signed three of his teammates last month.

-Newbury Park (Calif.) guard Zach Okun committed to Oregon last week and on Sunday, he was representing the Ducks with an Oregon Duck beanie despite the heat.  Okun said he's already doing some work on a number of Oregon targets.

-Anaheim (Calif.) Servite quarterback Travis Waller has offers from Washington, Colorado, BYU, Arizona and Northwestern joined the fray after the camp.  Waller is also hearing from Oregon, Tennessee, Washington State, Arizona State, Ohio State, Penn State and Maryland and he said that Michigan has been showing a lot of interest of late.

-Rialto (Calif.) Carter 2016 linebacker Lokeni Toailoa has offers from Arizona State, Cal, Colorado, UCLA, Washington and Washington State and said that USC, where he visited on Saturday, is also talking a lot with him.  Toailoa said that Cal and UCLA are standing out to him.

-Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon safety/receiver Isaiah Renfro has offers from Utah and Washington State and said Oregon, Michigan State and UCLA are all showing a lot of interest and he visited UCLA unofficially last week.

-San Marcos (Calif.) Mission Hills cornerback Dechaun Holiday was the DB MVP and with 11 of 12 Pac-12 offers, he's showed why he's a national recruit.  Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Florida State are some of his bigger national offers and all but Stanford from the Pac-12 have offered.  Oregon offered most recently.  Holiday said that UCLA, USC, Florida State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Oregon were some of the standouts.

-Fresno (Calif.) Clovis North defensive tackle Jacob Daniel cut his list down to 11 on Friday, narrowing it to USC, Ole Miss, UCLA, Oregon, Arizona, Arizona State, Alabama, Notre Dame, Washington, Fresno State and California.  Daniel said it's an "even 11" but said that USC, Oregon and Fresno State were recruiting him the hardest.

-Etiwanda (Calif.) linebacker Khaylan Thomas has offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Oregon State, UCLA, Utah and Washington State and said that Arizona, Arizona State and UCLA were standing out.  Boise State and USC are two schools he's hoping to add offers from.

-San Diego (Calif.) St. Augustine safety Frank Buncom has 13 offers, both Pac-12 and nationally but said the in-state schools were ones he was looking at because of the academics, namely Cal, Stanford and UCLA as well as USC, the lone in-state Pac-12 school yet to offer.

-Herriman (Utah) offensive tackle Andre James made the most of his time in Southern California, visiting both UCLA and USC.  James was also offered by Miami the morning of the NFTC.  James said he thinks an offer from USC could be close.

-Chandler (Ariz.) 2015 quarterback Bryce Perkins has offers from Arizona State, the local school, and UCLA, where his older brother, Paul plays.  Perkins said that Oregon and Arizona were also talking with him.

-Los Angeles (Calif.) Cathedral offensive lineman Ve'ehala Tuihalamaka got his first offer from Miami and USC, UCLA, Texas A&M, Alabama and Florida State are all recruiting him.

-Los Angeles (Calif.) Cathedral defensive end Simitali Moala also was offered by Miami last week, his first offer and he's also highly9o interested in the two local schools, USC and UCLA.
