2015 Los Angeles (Calif.) Loyola defensive end Christian Rector had a big week leading up to the Los Angeles (Calif.) Nike Football Training Camp.
The Bruins were thought to be the instant leader until the Trojans jumped in. The 6-foot-5, 225-pound defensive end says USC was his dream school growing him. Rector's mother and grandfather are both graduates of USC.
However, the Scout three-star says he's open to any school.
In fact, he has ties to UCLA as well. He played for new Bruins coach Kennedy Polamalu at Loyola, where coach Jim Mora's son is also a student.
Rector says he'd like to make a decision before his high school season starts in the fall. If he collects more offers, he might choose to trim his list then, instead.
