Mountain View (Calif.) St. Francis defensive tackle Thomas Toki (6-0, 310) remains committed to Washington State, where he pledged in December.

But Toki is still taking a look at some other schools, especially since he moved from the Seattle-area to the Bay Area.

"I'm still solid to Washington State but I'm looking around just to be sure I find what's right for me," said Toki. "I do need to get up there to Washington State soon."

Last weekend, Toki visited UCLA unofficially before participating in the Los Angeles NFTC.

"UCLA was an awesome place," said Toki. "I liked the atmosphere, they have good coaches and beautiful weather. Coach Angus (McClure) and Coach (Jim) Mora took us around the campus."

Toki said he hit it off with the Bruin coaches.

"(Former UCLA) Coach (Steve) Broussard was recruiting me before when I was in Washington but now Coach Angus is recruiting me and I really like him," said Toki. "And Coach Mora is an awesome coach."

Toki got to see a former KingCo League rival in Myles Jack, who he played against when he was a sophomore, and family friend Xavier Su'a-Filo while on the visit.

"I saw Myles and Xavier there so that was cool," said Toki. "UCLA is a big campus and a beautiful place."

Toki said that Cal, Auburn, USC and Oklahoma State have all been showing interest in him.

The four-star said the move to the Bay Area has been a good one for him.

"I like it a lot there," said Toki. "It's a big transition but I'm getting used to things. I feel like the team treats me pretty good. We'll be good next year."
