VIDEO: Anderson on Playing in San Diego

Point guard Kyle Anderson talks about surging at the right time and what it means to play in San Diego through the first two rounds...

Kyle Anderson:

On playing in San Diego:
That's huge, I think it means a lot. Less of a problem to travel, hopefully we'll get some fans there. It's pretty big for us.

On if he knows anything about Tulsa:
Yeah, I watch college basketball all year round. They've won 11 games in a row, coached by a great coach, Danny Manning, who was on the Kansas staff for a while, and was a great player. They're a great team.

On carrying momentum into the tourney:
It gives us a sense of confidence. We know what its like to prepare for three games in three days so we just want to keep on that same path and sustain that energy from this past weekend.

On when they felt they could play with anyone:
After we started conference play and lost to Arizona and by a close margin, we knew we could play with anybody, our last game proved that we can beat anybody. It gives us a big sense of confidence.
