Adams played safety and receiver for The Shop, but looks like, at 6-3, 222-pounds, an outside linebacker in the making.
Adams had to sit out his junior season after transferring from Pleasanton (Calif.) Foothill, but going into the year, he already had an offer. Now things are starting to get moving.
"Recruiting has been going well, even with me sitting out the season," said Adams. "It's been picking up and only looks to get better. Arizona State offered me as a receiver last year and I think during the spring, everything will pick up."
Adams said several more schools have been showing interest in him.
Adams said he prefers offense, but he's not opposed to defense.
"In college, I'll play either one," said Adams. "I would like to play both, but receiver is my number one position right now. A lot of schools think that I look more like a safety so I have to pretty much show them I can play receiver."
Adams said he wants to drop a few pounds for the season.
"I'm 222, but I want to stay around 215-220 weight wise," said Adams. "I think that's a good weight and I want to feel explosive."
Adams said his next camp will be the Oakland NFTC in May and he'll take the SAT in April.
