Rosen to Announce Today

It's a big day for UCLA recruiting, with five-star quarterback prospect Josh Rosen finally making it official...

Josh Rosen, the quarterback prospect from Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco, will announce his decision today.

Rosen will have a press conference at 12:30 p.m. at his high school.

It's the widely accepted opinion that Rosen will pick UCLA. He did unofficially visit Michigan last weekend but we have since learned there is very little chance he commits to the Wolverines.

Rosen is currently the #2-ranked quarterback in the nation by Scout.com but, with his recent performances at the SoCal Nike Camp and at the Las Vegas Pylon Elite 7on7, he'll have a very good chance of moving up to the #1 quarterback spot.

Being a five-star quarterback prospect, Rosen's commitment will certainly have a big impact on UCLA's 2015 recruiting. We know he's close with Christian Kirk, the receiver from Scottsdale (Ariz.) Saguaro, and Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman receiver prospect Cordell Broadus. He has been speaking with UCLA-committed tight end Alize Jones, from Bishop Gorman, Iman Marshall, the five-star defensive back from Long Beach Poly, and Stanley Norman, the athlete from Gardena Serra, as well as many other 2015 prospects.

Rosen has developed a very good relationship with head coach Jim Mora, as well as quarterbacks coach Taylor Mazzone.

We've heard that Rosen will have a little twist on the typical hat ceremony today at his announcement.

Scout.com will be there to film the announcement and interview Rosen exclusively.
