He made several acrobatic catches where he timed his jump perfectly and skied over a defender. He's able to hang on to the ball through contact and has the speed to get deep as well. He definitely lived up to the hype of all the early offers he picked up and has the talent to play for anyone out West.
"I wanted to come out and show everyone that I can play," Ross said over the weekend. "I wanted to have fun and enjoy the great competition and that's what I did. I haven't done a lot of these so it was good to get my feet wet out there and show off my talent."
On the recruiting front, Ross said he's in no hurry to make an early decision.
"Recruiting is going great and I plan to do some visits," Ross said. "I want to visit UCLA, USC and maybe San Diego State this spring. I also want to try and get to Boise State too since my brother lives out there.
"In the summer, I'll do camps at USC and UCLA and I know Colorado is coming out here to do a camp so I'm going to try and get to that one too. I also want to get to Oakland for the NIKE Camp in May. My plan right now is to wait things out and take all five of my visits. I'm still really open to everyone so I have no plans to make an early decision, I might wait until Signing Day."
