VIDEO: Travis Wear on Hitting Stride

UCLA forward Travis Wear talks about his improved play in recent weeks and how the team is gelling heading into the NCAA Tournament...

Travis Wear:

On his dive against Arizona:
I watched it a couple of times, it was just all hustle. I thought it gave us a lift and my teammates said that as well. When you sell out your body, it lifts you up.

On the lack of success of late in the tournament:
I think we have momentum going this year. We're playing our best basketball, and I think we have the opportunity to do some big things this tournament.

On being at 100%:
I definitely feel like I'm playing at 100%. The appendicitis was a long time ago. It took a little while to come back from, but I'm definitely feeling 100% and playing some good basketball.

On his 15-foot shot:
It adds a lot and creates opportunities for our guards. When I'm hitting that shot, our offense moves a little better.

On if they're thinking about UCLA's troubles of late in the tournament:
I don't think we're really thinking about that. Every year is a new year. It's something new about it. Everyone is really excited about it and we have some confidence.

On if there has been any change in the offense:
I think we're just all playing with confidence, moving without the ball, making the extra pass. Last week when we played at a high level, it gave us more confidence and we haven't looked back.
