Psalms Has a Dream School

The Chino Hills (Calif.) Ayala cornerback, Malik Psalms, dreamed of playing at UCLA and plans to camp with the Bruins...

Chino Hills (Calif.) defensive back Malik Psalms (6-1, 175), is playing much looser than when he first hit the camp circuit this spring.

Psalms was offered by both San Jose State and San Diego State earlier this month.

"San Jose State was my first offer and it felt great," said Psalms. "Now I can go out and relax and not stress at the camps and have fun like I'm supposed to."

San Diego State offered a few days after the Spartans, both schools offering as a cornerback.

A number of other schools are showing interest too.

"I'm hearing from all the Pac-12 really and my next one I think could be Colorado or Cal," said Psalms. "I know I'm planning to visit some schools."

Psalms said since he was a kid, he wanted to play for a Southland program.

"Since I was a little kid, I dreamed of playing at UCLA," said Psalms. "I know I'm going to camp at UCLA and at USC so hopefully they'll have more interest."

Academically, Psalms has a 3.7 and took the SAT earlier this month.
