Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman two-way lineman Jackson Perry (6-3, 278), has an offer from Nebraska and UCLA could be close too.

"Coach Barney Cotton from Nebraska is recruiting me," said Perry. "They offered me as an offensive lineman. Coach (Noel) Mazzone at UCLA is recruiting me and they want me as an offensive guard."

Several other schools are recruiting Perry, including Washington State, Arizona State, Colorado, Cal, Stanford Yale and Harvard.

"I'm looking for more of the Pac-12 offers," said Perry. "Arizona State has been talking with me a lot and Washington State is recruiting me pretty hard."

Perry visited Washington State earlier this month for the Cougars' Junior Day.

"I really liked it there," said Perry. "I like their facilities and their coaching staff is real cool. I met Coach Joe (Salave'a) and really liked him. They're recruiting me as a defensive lineman. We talked a lot about the program and their direction. They could be close to offering me."

Perry said that he's hearing from schools for both sides of the ball.

"It's a mixture of defensive tackle and offensive guard," said Perry. "I'm talking to a lot of schools about defense and a lot about offense, but mostly offensive guard. It really doesn't matter to me. I just want a chance to play."

Perry plans to visit several schools this spring and summer.

"I'm planning to go visit Nebraska, Arizona, Cal, Stanford, UCLA, Harvard and Yale, they're all on the calendar," said Perry. "I may also go to some of their camps."

As part of one of the most loaded teams in the West, Perry knows schools will be stopping by this spring.

"Arizona State, Stanford, Harvard and Arizona all said they're for sure coming by in the spring," said Perry. "Arizona was already by in January too."

Academically, Perry has a 3.8 and will take the SAT in June.
