Wenatchee (Wash.) linebacker Cy Sirmon (6-2.5, 233), will head down to Southern California this weekend.

He'll visit his uncle, USC linebackers coach Peter Sirmon and spend some time at USC and he'll also head over to UCLA to visit the school unofficially.

"I was contacted by UCLA and invited down by UCLA for an unofficial visit and tour. Coach (Angus) McClure is recruiting me," said Sirmon. "I'll see my uncle at USC while I'm in L.A., but it's not an arranged visit like at UCLA."

The two Los Angeles schools are just a couple of schools that are recruiting Sirmon.

"Other schools that have been talking to me are Washington, Washington State, Oregon, Boise State, California, SMU, Colorado and Montana," said Sirmon.

Idaho was the first school to offer Sirmon, and he's also interested in the Vandals, where his father played defensive end.

The three-star had 109 tackles and 19 tackles for loss in 2013.
