Lynott Planning Summer Visit

The Aurora (Colo.) Regis Jesuit offensive lineman, Tim Lynott, will visit UCLA in June...

Aurora (Colo.) Regis Jesuit offensive lineman Tim Lynott (6-3, 296), has hit double digits in offers.

Lynott has offers from the two in-state schools, Colorado and Colorado State plus offers from Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, Washington State, Miami, Arizona State, Nevada and Kansas State.

Though he plays tackle for Regis Jesuit, every school envisions him playing inside.

"I play tackle, but everyone is recruiting me as a guard right now," said Lynott. "I'm pretty sure I'm going to be a guard or even a center in college."

Lynott said a few other schools have been reaching out and are interested in him too.

"Penn State, USC, Washington, Ohio State and Arkansas have all been talking with me and I think they could be close to offering," said Lynott.

Lynott has already visited three schools and plans a few more in May and in June.

"I've been to Colorado, Colorado State and Arizona State and all of those trips were awesome," said Lynott. "All the coaches I met at those schools were awesome."

Pac-12 visits line the docket in the coming months.

I'm going to Oregon and Oregon State in May and then I'm going to UCLA and USC in June," said Lynott.

Lynott said UCLA has been talking with him consistently.

"Coach (Jim) Mora was who offered me at UCLA and he's the one who's mainly recruiting me," said Lynott. "It's pretty cool when it's the head coach really recruiting you."

Colorado has a couple things working in its favor, though Lynott was adamant he didn't have a favorite.

"My mom went to CU so of course she wants me there and Terran (Hasselbach, his teammate at Regis Jesuit who signed with Colorado in 2014) is recruiting me quite a bit, and his parents are also," said Lynott.

In fact, Lynott plans to be on campus this weekend.

"I'm going to Colorado this weekend for their spring game," said Lynott. "I'm talking to Coach Mac quite a bit and they're recruiting me pretty hard."

Lynott doesn't have any plans to commit any time soon.

"I'm thinking around my senior year some time, but I want to take some officials and make sure it's the right school for me," said Lynott.
