Westlake (Calif.) 2016 quarterback Malik Henry
is one of the premier prospects in his class, not just regionally, but nationally as well, especially at the quarterback position.
Henry already had a slew of offers, including from both local schools UCLA and USC, and this week, with several schools set to see him throw, two more national offers came in.
"Notre Dame offered me (Tuesday)," said Henry. "Coach Matt LaFleur offered me. They started showing interest a month or two ago and Coach LaFleur came out to see me throw."
Joining Notre Dame to watch Henry workout on Tuesday was Doug Nussmeier, the new offensive coordinator at Michigan as well as UCLA quarterbacks coach Taylor Mazzone.
On Wednesday morning, an SEC school offered Henry.
"Tennessee just offered," said Henry.
The Vols watched Henry throw on Wednesday, with Penn State and Duke also set to watch him workout.
This weekend, Henry will be at UCLA's Spring Game at the StubHub Center.
Henry now has offers from Arizona State, BYU, Colorado, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Tennessee, UAB, UCLA and USC.
