New Orleans (La.) Warren Easton middle linebacker Arthur McGinnis traveled a long way for the Washington, D.C. NFTC, and he made sure his trip wasn't in vain as he was one of eight players from the event to earn an invitation to The Opening.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder has over a dozen offers, however, he said a few schools—UCLA, Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Mississippi State—are beginning to stand out. McGinnis talks about why the aforementioned schools are standing out, future plans for visits, and more on his recruitment, in the video below.
Following this interview, McGinnis picked up an offer from Oklahoma (4/28).
"They [Oklahoma] have a great system in place over there so far that is pretty much what I know of," McGinnis said. "I'm still in the process of learning more about them."
