Running back Ray McCloud
of Tampa (Fla.) Sickles told Scout.com that he's slowing down his recruitment for a while, before taking unofficial visits this summer. Those visits, and others he's taken, will be the primary factors in the schools he'll choose to visit officially next fall.
Ray-Ray, as he goes by, said he plans on visiting UCLA, Notre Dame, Florida and Ohio State this summer.
He had previously indicated interest in Florida, Miami, Clemson and Ole Miss, having visited Florida (twice) and Miami.
"I think I'm visiting (schools) this summer," McCloud said. "We have dates set, I'm just not sure of it at this moment. It's sometime mid-summer."
McCloud said he doesn't yet have a set list of favorites, but he plans to announce his standouts at the beginning of the season. He plans to take official visits and graduate in December.
McCloud is a three-star prospect and ranked as the No. 45 running back in the class of 2015. He scored a total of 28 touchdowns during his junior campaign and racked up over 2,400 all-purpose yards.
