Recruiting Buzz Word

UCLA's coaches are still out visiting schools and prospects during the Spring Evaluation Period. This week and next they'll see Drew Richmond, Semisi Uluave, Josh Wariboko, Marvell Tell, Rasheem Green, Dechaun Holiday and a propect in Canada...

This is by no means a comprehensive list of the prospects UCLA coaches will see this week, or next. It's just the prospects and schools we've heard from different sources that UCLA coaches are visiting. Coaches, too, sometimes visit programs just to maintain a relationship and a presence. UCLA coaches, for instance, have spent a great deal of time checking in on L.A. schools this week without a specific recruiting target in mind.

Here are the specific visits we've heard about:

--
Josh Wariboko.
UCLA Offensive Line Coach Adrian Klemm was in Oklahoma Monday, and offered 2016 safety prospect Max Wariboko,, the younger brother of UCLA's prime 2015 offensive target, Josh Wariboko,.

It was a significant offer, since the elder Wariboko pretty much de-committed from Oklahoma when the Sooners waffled on offering the young Wariboko.

We've heard UCLA, now with the offer to the younger Wariboko, has a good chance at the older one.

From what we've heard from sources in the southwest, Klemm visited Drew Richmond, the 2015 offensive line target in Tennessee. After the visit, Richmond tweeted "8Clap."

Klemm is stopping in on Andre James, the OL target in Utah, Wednesday.

Essentially, Klemm is doing a tour of his top three uncommitted OL targets this week.

We were told by a source close to Semisi Uluave that Klemm is expected in Hawaii to visit Uluave next week, and that he'll also visit Fred Ulu-Perry, also in Honolulu.

UCLA Coach Mike Tuiasosopo was in Hawaii and saw Uluave last week, but this will be the first time this spring Klemm goes to the islands. We know Uluave likes UCLA, and then after his very good performance at the NorCal NIKE Camp, and Klemm now visiting him, it will be interesting to see how the UCLA recruitment of Uluave goes from here.

Connor Williams, the offensive line prospect from Texas, is expecting Klemm next week. We've heard, too, that Klemm told Wariboko and Richmond he could return next week to visit them again.

-- Assistant Coach Demetrice Martin is taking a trip through the Inland Empire, San Diego and then to Northern California this week. On the list of defensive back prospects he's expected to visit:

Ykili Ross, from Riverside Poly
Jihree Stewart, from Corona Centennial
Quenton Meeks, from San Diego Del Norte
Dechaun Holiday, San Marcos Mission Hills
Isaiah Langley, Plesanton Foothill
Stephen Johnson, San Leandro

Ykili Ross.
-- Assistant Angus McClure visited Gardena Serra today, to see the many UCLA prospects there: DL Rasheem Green; LB John Houston; DB Stanley Norman, RB Malik Roberson, and 2016 WR Brandon Burton, along with others.

Klemm visited Serra last week when they began spring practice.

McClure has been spotted at Encino Crespi this afternoon, checking in on safety Marvell Tell and defensive lineman Vaimoe Sekona. UCLA has offered Sekona, and while there could be some academic concerns, Sekona could evolve into one of UCLA's top DL targets.

-- UCLA Defensive Coordinator Jeff Ulbrich was at Fresno Clovis Tuesday, and offered a scholarship to Caleb Kelly, who is one of the best 2016 linebacker prospects in the west. We've heard that Ulbrich is also expected to go by Fresno Edison, one of the perennial powers in Fresno, which has DB and Fresno State verbal A.J. Greeley, along with others.

-- Assistant Kennedy Polamalu is expected today at San Clemente High School, at a college showcase. San Clemente has 2016 offensive line prospects Tucker Scott and Donte Harrington.

-- Assistant Mike Tuiasosopo is expected in Canada next week to see offensive line prospect Harper Sherman, of New Westminster (BC, Can.) New Westminster School. Sherman has a few Pac-12 offers, and UCLA has a connection to him.
