UCLA Has Offered 2016 Post

The 6-10, 245-pound 2016 prospect from Colorado currently holds five scholarship offers and has a couple schools he would like to unofficial visit...

One of the top centers in the 2016 class is Aurora (Colo.) Overland's De'Ron Davis. A skilled post, Davis can step out and shoot the midrange jumper, score with his back to the basket and is a very sharp passer for his position.

Most important right now for Davis, he's in the best shape physically of his career.

"I lost 15-20 pounds and can move better now," Davis said. "I can stay in the game longer and don't get as fatigued. I move better and play inside and out.

"My skill set is developing but right now I'm working on staying in shape and my outside game. The inside game will come to me."

Davis' offer list includes Indiana, Colorado, Arkansas, UCLA and Arizona, all of which he said are doing a good job recruiting him.

As of now, Davis hasn't been too focused on his recruitment.

"I'm starting to pay a little more attention to it than I did last year but right now I'm just focused on my game," he said.

The next step in Davis' recruiting process is to see some of the schools recruiting him.

"I don't know where I'm going yet but I do want to take some unofficial visits," Davis said. "I would like to see Louisville and UCLA unofficially. Those are the two I want to get to probably."

Given that he's more concerned about his game than his recruitment, Davis doesn't have an exact timetable on a decision.

"Probably not until the end of my junior year but there's no telling right now," he said.
