Q. How was the UCLA visit yesterday?

A. It was nice. I got to hang out with Jordan Payton, and it was a lot of fun. I got to see the campus, he took me out to eat, took me to a lot of place, so it was a lot of fun.

Q. What did the coaches tell you on the visit?

A. Oh, not too much. Not too much. I mostly just hung out with the players. Not too much coaches.

Q. Was this your first trip to L.A.?

A. No, I've been here before, but this is the first time on kind of a leisure trip. Or, well, the first two days were kind of leisure. I've been to L.A. before, though, yeah.

Q. What was your itinerary when you got to Westwood?

A. I first got there and I got to talk to Coach Polamalu. And then, they turned me over to Jordan, and it was a great time, we got to go eat and see a lot of the joints they don't have in Texas. And then he just took me on the town, I got to hang out with him, see his house, so it was just a good time.

Q. What was the thing that stood out to you the most?

A. I guess the camaraderie around some of the players, because they're pretty close, and that's really important to me, so I would say their relationships probably stood out to me the most.

Q. Took a visit to Notre Dame recently, how do those two schools compare?

A. Two totally different scenes. I like them both. As far as they compare, they don't really compare at all.

Q. Do you see yourself as more of a big city kid?

A. Sometimes I kind of feel that way, but sometimes I want to live the small town life as well. Either one is cool.

Q. What stood out about Notre Dame?

A. As far as the coaches go, they were awesome, they were all together. I got to hang out with the underclassmen as well, and as far as their relationships, they were all together, they were always joking around, so that's what stood out to me.

Q. What other schools are on you the hardest right now?

A. Probably Oklahoma, although they just got a commit. Them, Ohio State, Baylor, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Arizona State, and then those two schools we just talked about.

Q. With Oklahoma getting a commitment, does that change the picture with them at all?

A. No, I'm not scared of any competition. If anything, I want to commit to make them recommit, because I feel they should be afraid of me if anything. No, I'm not afraid at all.

Q. Now that you've seen these two schools, where do you go from here?

A. This was a huge step as far as knowing where I want to go. I thought I would, but I'm not even close. My mind is racing right now. I want to get through this camp and then get home, sit down with my family, and figure out where things stand at this point. Then I'll probably get on with the rest of my recruiting process and visits and such.

Q. Do you know any officials you'll take at this point?

A. Oh, I'll take officials to Notre Dame and UCLA at this point, but as far as the other three, I'm not sure.

Q. Would you say those two are your leaders right now?

A. I'll plead the fifth, but I guess it could sound like that.

Q. Any other summer plans, camps?

A. Not that I know of quite yet. The Opening obviously, but as far as visits, I'm not sure.
